How many pictures and videos do you need to watch before you know enough? Before you know as much as the riders who didn't have any of this information? Riders from the past who were presented with a lot of  incorrect images of how horses moved. Yet they did better?? How is that possible?

Anyone who is truly honest knows how it is next to impossible to follow the foot falls of any gait and assess them without a camera. No wonder the artists of the past got it so wrong. But even with that, one could argue that riders overall from the past did better.  So then we have to ask, how can we use this beautiful bonanza of endless images available to all of us to do better?
