There are two physical realities that comprise the activity that we call riding.
One is movement, the other are the aids that we use. These are the two physical components of what we call riding. It is amazing if one day they come to mean the same thing when we ride, but that isn’t where most of us start. Sadly many will have difficulty understanding what that statement means. Important to find a coach that can help find that.
When we start we need to consider them as two different things with different levels of importance. The opportunity to study both individually gives us a better opportunity to build the individual skills we need to successfully bring the two together later.
