The Golden Thread is an awareness of a path where movements build one upon the other. The next movement prepared for us in the movements that we have played with so far. Bringing us to a moment where what we strive for next comes easily and naturally. The Golden Thread teaches us what to focus on, what truly matters and what will lead us to our desired outcome. By learning the Golden Thread, we can align our actions with our goals and know we will be successful as riders, teachers, mindfulness coaches, friends of the horse, and healers.

In a previous issue on the Golden Thread we talked about the secret that so many seem unaware of. How when we get it right, the next new thing comes easily because it was premade in the beginning of what came before. A golden thread we can follow all the way through.
We continue the story here, knowing we need to learn not only what to teach but also what to leave out. Imagine a path bathed in golden light, each step a lesson on your journey to a deeper understanding of yourself and your horse. Every experience a stepping stone. No longer including steps that take you off the path to success. Forget the dead ends and frustration of the past when you learn that not all paths are equal.
