When Knowledge Isn't the First Answer
Without feel actions are blind, mute and deaf, especially when we talk about our work with horses. And without feel actions may be useless at best, but could be harmful without feel to guide you. Without feel knowledge is a word without meaning.

In almost every field, knowledge is the foundation, the center, the path of advancement. And we tend to take that perspective with us in every field. It is almost part of who we are as humans. But we can miss something very important when we make that our focus in our work with our horses. Because they are part of this, and it doesn't quite work for them that way. It is not like the more years we ride, the smarter they get. Knowledge isn't the foundation of what is between us. And we know that, but somehow we can't let go of thinking that knowledge is how we will make progress. Now, of course, that can be true or at least be a part of this, but that isn't the foundation of what we need to exist between us. And if we don't respect that, we miss how we should teach and learn in our work with the horses.
