If you want to be the best, that demands sacrifice.  I think something few think about.

Becoming a CEO can be a bloodletting experience.  Your life revolves around the business. Sleep, time for relationships dissolves as any kind of possibility.

It requires passion to be the best.  A passion that isn't just there for a day, or a week or a month.  A passion that can last for years for a lifetime.  A passion that demands that this is your life. That you spend most days thinking, dreaming, exploring, learning new things about the thing that you are passionate about.

I have been that CEO, where my business demanded everything from me.  I don't think, actually I am pretty sure my body proved that isn't healthy for any of us.  We all deserve something better than that, we deserve to have balance in our lives.  Time for laughter, fun, exploration, friends and loved ones. But that doesn't diminish the idea that if you want to be the best, that it demands something from us.  To think that you can become the absolute best teacher of the horse in the world and just attend a class once a week, or once a month, is fooling yourself.  That isn't a passion that is something that you like, not something that drives you, haunts you, obsesses you and that is what passion does.  If your heart lives with the horse and you feel exceedingly thirsty as if you are always parched, always thirsting for new information, new knowledge, when you know that is the one thing that has never changed as you travel through the years, then you have the capability of becoming the best in the world.  That opportunity is open to you.

"We are looking for those who want to become the best, the best now, the best in any time."

But knowing that we will always fall short because we can be humble enough to know that one lifetime is not enough.

We are looking for those who want to become the best, the best now, the best in any time.  But knowing that we will always fall short because we can be humble enough to know that one lifetime is not enough.  There isn't enough time in this lifetime and knowing that drives us every day, as we feel the breath of time breathing on the back of our necks, driving us to outrace what time we have, to learn all that there is to learn.  We are in a race against time, against our own mortality.

Becoming the best can be a struggle, it can bring us hardship at times, but it can bring us also unbelievable joy, inspiration and meaning into our lives. Especially when we have the opportunity to bring others the gifts that we have been blessed with.

The words shared here through these pages in Kjrsos are meant for all who want to be the best. For all who can say "I stand for the horse, I stand for all spirits of light and life." and we hope some will take their passion and approach us and apply for our instructor training program, considering becoming part of the most important job that any human can have, someone who shares their knowledge, their life, their experiences and their heart and hopefully a little wisdom along the way, someone who says "I will stand for the horse." and this is what he has to say.

Teaching, inspiring is the noblest of inspirations as we help build people up and help them fulfil their potential and the possibilities of what and who they can be.
